Founded near the end of the 18th century, “Jacques Prieur” is a top domaine with 25 appellations, focusing on Montrachet, Meursault, Musigny, and other Grand Cru wines.
In charge of brewing since 1990, Nadine Gublin has focused efforts on wine production that emphasizes terroirs. She is a charismatic brewer who was the first woman to be named “Top Winemaker of the Year” by a French wine magazine in 1997.
Ms. Gublin has been invited to this dinner to give her thoughts regarding winemaking. Chef Sommelier Gérard Margeon, who manages all wines in Alain Ducasse’s restaurants worldwide will also be in attendance to describe each of the wines and their “mariage” to the cuisine. (Interpreter provided.)
